Magic Loot Rebirth Guide — When to Rebirth & Multipliers
When should you rebirth in Magic Loot? Read the live confirmation panel, understand what resets and what persists, and time your reset.
When should you rebirth in Magic Loot? Read the live confirmation panel, understand what resets and what persists, and reset only when the stated multiplier actually solves a bottleneck you can name. This guide is intentionally conservative — Beta reset mechanics change.
What Rebirth Does
Rebirth resets your current Power in exchange for permanent multipliers to Power gain and Coin gain. The multipliers stack across rebirths, which is why long-term progression eventually requires it — without them, the curve flattens out.
Two rebirth levels are confirmed from in-game sources:
| Level | Power Bonus | Coin Bonus | Required | Cumulative Power | Cumulative Coin | |-------|-------------|------------|----------|------------------|-----------------| | 1 | x1.5 | x1.2 | Level 25/50 | x1.5 | x1.2 | | 2 | x2.0 | x1.4 | Level 50/50 | x3.0 | x1.68 |
Higher levels exist in the game but their exact multipliers have not been verified from public sources. We don't publish unverified numbers.
When to Rebirth
Rebirth only when all of the following are true:
- The live confirmation panel shows a requirement you currently meet.
- You can explain what resets and what persists in one sentence.
- The cumulative multiplier unlocks something you actually want (a potion recipe, a wand tier, a training-rate threshold).
- You have a screenshot of your current resources to compare against.
The timing matters because your Wand and Armor Power survive a Rebirth. A powerful Wand can keep carrying you through a dungeon right after a reset, which makes it worth saving Coins for the next tier before you Rebirth. Armor does not help in combat — it multiplies training speed — so most players wait until their Coin income per run exceeds 100,000 before buying the first set.
Evidence-safe rebirth route
| Stage | What to Do | What to Observe | What NOT to Assume |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pre-Rebirth 1 | Train to Level 25+ using the dedicated training area. | Whether the rebirth panel shows the requirement as met. | That any Level 25 walk-through will match your server exactly. |
| Rebirth 1 → 2 | Re-train with the x1.5 multiplier; reach Level 50. | Training speed improvement vs pre-rebirth. | That the next rebirth's multiplier will be the same increment. |
| Rebirth 2+ | Read the live panel for the cumulative multiplier; rebirth only if it unlocks a recipe or wand tier you need. | Potion recipe availability in the alchemy station. | That higher rebirth is automatically better — read the panel each time. |
When NOT to Rebirth
- You can't describe what the panel will reset.
- You haven't identified a recipe or wand that the multiplier unlocks.
- You're mid-dungeon-run and would lose progress.
- You're emotionally tilted from a loss — the rebirth will still be there in 10 minutes.
What Persists Across Rebirth
According to the official loop, these survive (but always read the panel — Beta can change this):
- Wands — every wand you've purchased.
- Armor — every armor set you own.
- Collection Index milestones — your expanded backpack slots persist.
- Multipliers — the cumulative Power and Coin multipliers you've earned.
What Resets
- Current Power — back to zero (the multipliers compensate over time).
- Story/dungeon progress — current combat target resets to the start.
The Rebirth Strategy
Without Rebirths, progress eventually slows to a crawl, so perform one as soon as the option unlocks. The compounding multipliers matter more than the Power you give up. Because a Wand's Power survives a Rebirth, upgrading before you reset gives you a permanent floor for your damage.
The general progression strategy is:
- Train to reach the minimum Level for Rebirth
- Upgrade your Wand to the strongest tier you can afford
- Perform the Rebirth to gain the multiplier
- Use your multiplied Power and Coin gains to push further into the dungeon
- Repeat the cycle, saving for better Wands and eventually Armor
Each Rebirth makes you stronger for future runs because your Wand and Armor Power persist while the multipliers stack. The more Rebirths you complete, the faster each subsequent run becomes.
